Improve the integration of your movement practice!

As a hypermobile hero, your body often has extra tension because it's simply trying to hold itself together (that connective tissue ain't doing it's job!) But when the nervous system is in such a state, it has a hard time integrating new information (for example, new movement patterns). Fortunately, we have a few tools at our disposal to help our hard-working bodies!

Self-massage of the muscles around the Vagus Nerve is simply meant to relax those muscles enough that the nerve does not get compressed (sound familiar to my Thoracic Outlet Syndrome friends?)

The power of taking a couple of minutes to do some self-massage and check-in before your movement practice might surprise you! Let me know how it goes for you!
