Strengthen Those Hypermobile Shoulders! Webinar Recording

Strengthening hypermobile shoulders is HARD!

I’ve been getting lots of questions around strengthening shoulders in a hypermobile body lately, so I decided to run a short webinar about how to adapt load for the hypermobile body.

Shoulders have lots of range of motion and lots of moving parts, and to be honest, we move our arms and neck so much that maintaining strength will also take a lot of focus. And often if you’re working out at home, you might not have a set of weights around or you’re not able to start with a much weight.

Don't get discouraged though - it IS possible to build and maintain strength and stability in your shoulders. You'll reduce neck and shoulder pain, and be able to give more hugs (most importantly!)

Whether you have joint hypermobility syndrome disorder (HSD) or hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (hEDS), in this webinar you'll find some tips and tools to get your shoulders stronger.

List of sections in the recording:

  • 00:00 Introduction

  • 02:35 Benefits of Adding Load

  • 04:24 Muscle Tension

  • 07:08 Support and Preparation

  • 11:10 What object(s) can be your load/weight
